Paityn Noe, a junior at Ballard Community High in Iowa, won the girls 3,000 meters in 9:53.31 at the 112th Drake Relays Presented by Xtream and Powered by Mediacom and Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa. Noe became the second straight Ballard female athlete to win the 3,000 at Drake Relays, following Shewaye Johnson last year. It marked the first time since 2002-03 that a pair of teammates won the event in consecutive years at Drake Relays.
